Cardiology Physician Assistant

The organization is actively seeking a Spanish-Speaking Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join its growing neurology team in Silver Spring, MD .

Candidates with backgrounds in Family Medicine, Primary Care, or related specialties who have a strong interest in neurology are encouraged to apply. This full-time, permanent opportunity is ideal for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) with neurology experience or Spanish-English bilingual skills .

The role includes a combination of outpatient clinic visits and inpatient hospital responsibilities, along with shared call coverage (approximately one weekend per month). Scheduling and responsibilities can be tailored to accommodate the right candidate.

• Provide neurological care in outpatient clinic and hospital settings.

• Conduct patient evaluations, follow-up visits, and consultations for various neurological conditions.

• Collaborate with neurologists, hospital staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.

• Assist in the management of acute and chronic neurological disorders.

• Participate in hospital rounding and shared call coverage.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

• Provide patient education and support continuity of care across clinical settings.

• Education: Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.

• Certification: Board-certified NP or PA; eligible for Maryland licensure.

• Experience: Neurology experience preferred. Candidates from Family Medicine, Primary Care, or related backgrounds with a strong interest in neurology will also be considered.

• Language: Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

• Skills: Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative clinical team.

• Annual Compensation: $110,000-$160,000, based on experience and productivity.
