This facility is seeking a Gastroenterology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 24 hour call with dates from October 30, 2026 to January 1st 2027
• Practice Setting: Inpatient emergency
• Type of cases and required procedures: All gastroenterology procedures.
• Credentialing timeframe: Facility will grant emergency privileges
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Cerner
• Certifications required: Board Certification or Board Eligible, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Fellowship required
• Licensure required: Active California License

Facility Location
Redding is a city located off Interstate 5 and between the Canadian and Mexican borders. The Sacramento River also goes through this city. During the 1950's there was a great expansion of the lumber industry and two major dams in the Redding area now known as, the "Whiskeytown Dam" and the "Keswick Dam", were built. During the housing and retail boom of the late 1980's the population of Redding grew to 66,462.
