Job description

We're working with a well-regarded flagship hospital in Morristown, NJ, to find their next Chair of Emergency Medicine. The role leads both the adult and pediatric EDs and the academic program, at a hospital that has been CMS 5-Star and Leapfrog "A" rated for a decade.

The Dept.
  • About 110,000 annual visits across 120 treatment areas in a recently renovated ED
  • Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma, comprehensive stroke, Level 1 Geriatric, and a Magnet hospital
  • The oldest ACGME EM residency in New Jersey
  • 75 physicians and 46 experienced APPs, with scribe support
  • Dedicated children's hospital and pediatric ED, plus a helicopter and specialty transport program
  • Epic EMR
