Opportunity:
Physician - Oncology
Job Details:
- Full-time locum oncologist position covering 4-5 days per week once credentialed until permanent hire
- Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with night call and weekend call coverage
- Call coverage is 1:4 ratio via beeper/phone
- Both inpatient and outpatient coverage required
- Practice setting includes clinic and outpatient/hospital-based environments
- Patient population is 100% adult with 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient split
- Average patient volume is 2-4 patients per day in the hospital and 16-20 patients per day in the clinic
- Community-based position with no required teaching or leadership responsibilities
- EMR system is Epic
- Candidates should be able to cover 4 weeks at a time (candidates offering slightly less may be considered)
- Active Board Certification in Medical Oncology required
- Medical Oncology fellowship required
- Active Ohio license or active IMLC preferred; open to licensing candidates
- Required certifications include ACLS and DEA
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Clean background required with no malpractice or license issues
