Opportunity:
Physician - Interventional Cardiology
Job Details:
- Coverage dates: December 29 through January 1
- Availability of 3-7 days per month required
- Practice setting: Inpatient/EMTALA Call
- No ambulatory/clinic work required
- Adult patient population
- Documentation system/EMR: Epic Cupid
- Required procedures include: Balloon Angioplasties, Coronary Angioplasty, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), Heart Catheterization, and Coronary Angiograms
- Expected to respond to ALL cardiology calls for the hospital
- General Cardiology consults as needed
- Reading studies to include EKG, ECHOs, and Stress tests (including nuclear stress)
- On-call coverage required including weekends
- Board Certification required
- Active Kentucky State License required; IMLC considered for providers with 3-7 days/month availability
- DEA required
- ACLS certification required
