Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Assists in the examination, testing, and treatment of participants.
- Implements orders written by primary care providers.
- Triages participant and staff phone calls to determine the priority of care and routes accordingly.
- Schedules outside appointments for participants when necessary.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments. Provides training to participants in self-administration of applicable medications and monitors medication compliance.
- Documents all necessary information and maintains participant medical record(s).
- Provides health counseling and education to participants and their families.
- Observes, records, and reports participant's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to providers.
Qualifications
- Current State issued Registered Nurse License
- Current First Aid and BLS certifications are required prior to hire. Acceptable vendors for certifications are from either American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross.
- 1+ yr working with the frail or elderly
Compensation & Schedule
- $44.66-$58.08/hour based on experience
- Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm, no weekends
