Job Details:
Provide anesthesia coverage for general, orthopedics, trauma, plastics, neurosurgery, pediatrics (ages 5 and up), endoscopy, NORA, robotic surgery, gynecology, and ENT proceduresAssess, prepare, and manage patients for anesthesia care in the perioperative/procedural periodDevelop and implement individualized anesthetic plansPerform history and physical examinations and obtain informed consentPerform pre-anesthetic evaluations and post-operative assessmentsAdminister general, regional, epidural, spinal, and IV regional block anesthesia as well as Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC)Perform invasive monitoring and placement including CVP/CVC, pulmonary artery catheterization, and intra-arterial linesManage airway as requiredFull-time candidates only; shift options include 10-hour shifts (8:30 AM - 7:00 PM) or 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with 7:00 AM start on Thursdays)No call requirementMedical direction model with CRNA to anesthesiologist ratio of 2:1 or 3:1Large academic hospital setting with other anesthesia providers on siteMinimum of 1 year of CRNA experience requiredActive Pennsylvania license requiredACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications requiredBoard certification requiredReferences must be provided upon submissionFacility:
