We are seeking a Board Certified Pediatric Cardiologist for a locum opportunity in New Jersey. This assignment offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities while working alongside an established pediatric cardiology team.

- 40 hours per week
- Inpatient and outpatient coverage
- Ongoing call responsibilities
Schedule
Alternating weekly schedule:
- Week 1: Inpatient coverage (8:00 AM 4:00 PM) with call
- Week 2: Outpatient clinic (8:00 AM 4:00 PM)
Practice Setting
- Pediatric Cardiology
- Inpatient and outpatient care
- Epic EMR
Clinical Responsibilities
- Pediatric cardiology consultations
- Outpatient clinic evaluations and follow-up
- Inpatient pediatric cardiology management
- Shared call coverage
- Perform echocardiograms when needed if a sonographer is unavailable
Patient Volume
- Approximately outpatient patients per day
- Inpatient census varies based on service needs
Team Structure
- Two Pediatric Cardiology attending physicians
- Multidisciplinary cardiology team
- APP support available
- Collaborative practice environment
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Pediatric Cardiology
- Active state license required
- Comfortable with inpatient, outpatient, and call responsibilities
- Epic experience preferred
Credentialing
- Temporary privileges available for qualified candidates
