Our client in NY seeks a Pediatrician for a 77-day assignment, focusing on part-time, 24-hour inpatient call. The schedule typically involves one week per month, from 7 am Monday to 7 am Monday, managing both newborns and pediatric inpatients. This role requires a Physician to provide essential care and support within an inpatient setting.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide 24-hour inpatient call coverage, one week per month (7 am Monday to 7 am Monday).
- Manage patient mix including newborns and pediatric inpatients.
- Oversee nursery patients, up to 10 daily.
- Handle pediatric unit patients, up to 6 daily.
- Address newborn consults (3-4 daily) and pediatric consults (1-2 daily).
