Job description

  • Specialty: Nurse Anesthesia (CRNA)
  • Practice Setting: Inpatient Surgical Suites, L&D, Cath/CV Lab, IR (Hospital / Clinic Coverage)
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: June 30, 2027
  • Schedule / Shift: 4 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM 5:00 PM) with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
  • Call & Weekends: No call, no weekends, no holidays
  • Commitment: Full-Time provider only (No guaranteed hours)
  • Credentialing Timeline: Days
  • State Licensure: Active Pennsylvania (PA) RN / APRN license required (PA only)
  • Board Certification: Required (NBCRNA Certified)
  • EMR System: Epic

Clinical Scope & Key Responsibilities
  • Provide intraoperative and procedural anesthesia services across broad surgical and interventional specialties:
  • General Surgery
  • Gynecology
  • Orthopedics
  • Labor & Delivery (L&D)
  • Cath Lab & Cardiovascular (CV) Lab
  • Interventional Radiology (IR)
  • Respond to and perform house-wide endotracheal intubations for acute airway emergencies.
  • Manage induction, anesthetic maintenance, emergence, and acute post-procedure care.
  • Utilize Epic for perioperative charting, anesthesia documentation, and order entry.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program (Master s or Doctoral degree).
  • Board Certification: Active NBCRNA Board Certification.
  • Licensure: Unrestricted, active Pennsylvania (PA) state nursing and advanced practice license in hand.
  • Clinical Versatility: Proven comfort handling standard surgical lines as well as out-of-OR procedural suites (Cath/CV, IR, L&D) and rapid airway management.
  • Availability: Able to commit to a full-time 40-hour weekly schedule (four 10-hour day shifts) through mid-2027.
