A leading healthcare employer in central Pennsylvania has an opportunity for a non-invasive cardiologist to join an established practice at one of its first dedicated heart care centers. The practice has a solid patient base and a team of interventionalists, non-invasive cardiologist, electrophysiologists, and a heart failure specialist, supported by multiple PAs and nurse practitioners. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with a good balance of inpatient and outpatient work and a 1:5 call rotation.
The cardiology team works alongside vascular and cardiothoracic surgeons who are part of the system's heart and vascular institute, which gives a practicing cardiologist surgical backup and access to a full range of structural care.
The compensation package includes an initial income guarantee, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, annual CME allowance and days, and PTO. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, retirement benefits, and occurrence-based malpractice coverage.
