Pay: $250,000 per year
Overview:
Our medical practice in Jacksonville is seeking a Physician (MD/DO) to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care. You will help shape care pathways and improve outcomes alongside a supportive interdisciplinary team.
Position Offers:
- No nights or weekends, with a 100% outpatient schedule

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions, for adult patients
- Conduct thorough histories and physical exams to inform clinical decision-making
- Develop and implement evidence-based care plans, adjusting treatment based on patient response and diagnostic findings
- Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), focusing on long-term control
- Document encounters, order tests, and manage prescriptions in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Coordinate care with specialists, allied health professionals, and community resources
- Provide preventive care, including screenings, immunizations, and risk factor modification
- Educate patients and families from diverse backgrounds on diagnoses, treatment options, and self-management
Qualifications:
- Active, current Physician (MD/DO) licensure in Florida, with a specialty in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Infectious Disease
- Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration and furnishing license
- Minimum 3 years of experience, including treating and diagnosing patients with HIV/AIDS in an outpatient primary care setting
- Ability to obtain American Academy of HIV Medicine (AAHIVM) certification within 18 months of hire
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Bilingual a plus
