• Patient Volume: Approximately 19 patients per shift

• Department Size: 45 beds

• EMR: Epic

• Pediatric Trauma Level: Level III

• Hospital Certification: Stroke certified

Required Clinical Experience & Skills

• Newborn and neonatal acute care

• Newborn and neonatal chronic care

• Exchange transfusions

• Umbilical arterial catheter (UAC) placement

• Umbilical venous catheter (UVC) placement

• Pediatric ventilation management

Provider Requirements

• Board-certified in Pediatrics - Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine

• Active Arizona medical license

Required Life Support Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Provider or Instructor certification

Preferred Certifications

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - preferred

• Advanced Pediatric Life Support (APLS) - preferred
