Seeking a Board-Certified OBGYN Physician for locumtenens coverage in a hospital-based practice in Lansing, Michigan. This roleprovides 24/7 obstetric and gynecologic call coverage, including labor anddelivery, emergency department coverage, and urgent surgical needs. The idealcandidate has at least two years of OBGYN experience and is comfortablemanaging deliveries, obstetric emergencies, and surgical procedures.

Clinical Responsibilities Provide labor and delivery coverage,including low-risk pregnancies and vaginal deliveries.
Perform Cesarean sections and manage urgentobstetric surgical needs.
Provide coverage for obstetric andgynecologic emergencies in the emergency department.
Repair third- and fourth-degree lacerations.
Manage patients requiring vaginal birth afterCesarean (VBAC).
Perform obstetric ultrasounds andamniocentesis.
Evaluate emergent clinic consultations todetermine whether hospital admission is necessary.
Collaborate with two Nurse Practitioners andother members of the care team.

Requirements Board Certified in Obstetrics &Gynecology
Active Michigan medical license
Minimum of 2 years of OBGYN experience
Experience with vaginal deliveries, Cesareansections, VBAC, and obstetric emergencies
Proficiency in repairing third- andfourth-degree lacerations
Experience with obstetric ultrasound andamniocentesis
