We are seeking a Board-Certified InterventionalCardiology Physician for a locums opportunity in Mechanicsville, Virginia. Thisinpatient and call coverage position offers the opportunity to providecomprehensive cardiovascular care, perform interventional procedures, andsupport patients requiring urgent cardiac treatment.
Schedule & Call Requirements WeekdayOnsite Coverage: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM
WeekdayEvening/Night Call: Monday-Friday, 5:00PM-7:00 AM
WeekendCall: Saturday, 7:00 AM-Monday, 7:00 AM
Weekend and on-call coverage required.
Call Ratio: Approximately 9 VCS to 7 RHV; final ratio to bedetermined.

ICU Beds: 30
Practice Setting: Inpatient and on-callcoverage
Responsibilities Perform coronary angiograms and diagnosticheart catheterizations.
Perform balloon angioplasty, coronaryangioplasty, and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
Perform atherectomy and embolic protectionprocedures.
Provide carotid artery stenting whenindicated.
Manage vascular disease and developappropriate treatment plans.
Respond to urgent cardiac consultations andinterventional cardiology emergencies.
Provide inpatient cardiovascular care andcoordinate with the multidisciplinary team.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation andfollow established protocols.
Requirements Board-Certified in Interventional Cardiology.
Active Virginia medical license.
Current ACLS certification.
Current BLS certification.
Experience with coronary interventions, PCI,cardiac catheterization, and vascular procedures.
