- Patient Volume: Approximately 1-3 patient encounters per shift

Pediatric Hospitalist Physician Requirements
- Physician degree and eligibility to practice medicine in Oregon
- At least 1 year of pediatric hospitalist or pediatric acute-care experience
- Board-certification eligible; board certification is not required
- Current PALS certification
- Ability to complete facility credentialing and comply with applicable clinical requirements
- Demonstrated competency in pediatric inpatient care, Level I nursery care, newborn intubation, and pediatric intubation
Pediatric Hospitalist Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care for pediatric patients
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage approximately 1-3 pediatric patients per shift
- Provide care in a Level I nursery setting
- Attend C-sections and high-risk deliveries
- Perform or assist with newborn and pediatric intubation when clinically indicated
- Coordinate care with nursing, anesthesia, general surgery, radiology, laboratory, and other members of the clinical team
- Document assessments, treatment plans, procedures, and clinical outcomes accurately and promptly
- Support safe transitions of care and clear communication with families and referring providers
