We are seeking a dependable and organized Warehouse Assistant to support the daily operations of our warehouse. This position is responsible for receiving and organizing inventory, preparing orders, maintaining an efficient warehouse, and delivering supplies to various company locations.
The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, comfortable performing physical work, and able to operate an electric forklift.
Key Responsibilities

Receive, sort, label, and properly store incoming supplies and inventory

Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for delivery

Load and unload delivery vehicles

Deliver supplies to various company locations as needed

Monitor inventory levels and assist with regular inventory counts and audits

Report inventory discrepancies to the Purchasing Officer

Operate an electric forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment safely

Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse

Ensure supplies are stored properly for efficient use of warehouse space

Assist with basic maintenance and facility-related tasks, including minor repairs, assembly, moving equipment or furniture, replacing basic fixtures or supplies, and other general upkeep as needed

Follow all company safety procedures and properly use required PPE

Assist the Purchasing Officer with additional warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or delivery experience preferred

Ability to safely operate an electric forklift

Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license

Ability and willingness to drive to various company locations to deliver supplies

Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds

Basic computer skills for inventory and order processing

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team

Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
Work Environment
This position works primarily in a warehouse environment and requires regular use of warehouse equipment and performance of physical tasks. PPE will be provided and must be worn as required. Occasional overtime or weekend work may be necessary based on operational needs.
