Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently
- Perform sterile compounding of intravenous admixtures, including Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN)
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to aseptic techniques during compounding
- Receive, stock, and manage inventory of medications and supplies
- Assist pharmacists with drug information requests and medication reconciliation
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Successful completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program
- IV Room Certification
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
