This position is designed for physicians who want to focus exclusively on inpatient rehabilitation medicine, with no outpatient clinic or pain management responsibilities. Physicians practice within a 49-bed acute rehabilitation hospital connected to a large regional medical center, providing immediate access to extensive clinical resources and specialty support.
The Monday Friday schedule, phone-only call structure, established patient volume, and strong interdisciplinary support provide an attractive environment for physicians seeking a focused inpatient PM&R practice. Academic opportunities are also available through an affiliation with the University of Texas, including teaching and research for physicians who are interested.
