Hematology/Oncology Physician

Medical Oncology locums coverage is available in Georgia with a consistent outpatient clinic schedule and limited call. You will see adult medical oncology patients only, with acute leukemia and BMT transferred out.

• Outpatient clinic coverage, adult medical oncology only, no hematology
• Call is limited to 1 weekend per month
• Manageable clinic volume, 15 to 20 patients per day depending on mix
• Expedited credentialing available for clinic coverage

Practice Setting

• Outpatient clinic, adult patient population
• Medical oncology case mix, acute leukemia cases are transferred out
• No BMT
• Typical daily volume is 15 to 20 patients, mix of new patients and follow ups

Schedule

• Monday through Friday clinic coverage
• Scheduled clinic hours are 8a to 5p
• Weekend call is 1 weekend per month, from Friday evening through Monday morning
• Hospital credentialing is required to begin taking call, estimated 60 to 90 days

Cases and Procedures

• All medical oncology, no hematology
• Acute leukemia cases are transferred out
• No BMT

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Medical Oncology or Hematology Oncology
• Georgia medical license required, will not wait for license
• DEA required
