Mechanical Service Technician

Hydraulic Solutions is a family-owned business based out of Olympia with a satellite locations in Midland and Arlington. We specialize in shop equipment sales, installation, relocation and service throughout Western Washington in both commercial and residential settings. Our attention to detail and quality installation/service techniques sets us apart from our competitors.

On the job training provided, but you must be ready to learn and want to hit the ground running. There is a lot of heavy lifting and going up on ladders 12'+ so you must be comfortable and able to do both. You must also be a problem solver and resourceful in your diagnosing and repair work.

Specifications:

• Service and install hydraulic vehicle lifts and other shop equipment to identify problems; Run diagnostic tests to ascertain components within the lift that might be faulty; Identify the problem components and recommend the appropriate fixes; Remove parts that are not operating as required or are worn out and replace with new parts; Keep detailed records of what was done, parts used and on what equipment.
• Must have basic tools (sockets, wrenches, impact drivers, etc.) and know how to use them.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable.
• No criminal history.
• Site location for picking up work truck is in Midland; you must have reliable transportation to get yourself to the lot.
• Starting pay: $30+/hr DOE, quarterly and yearly workplace safety bonuses, and opportunities for advancement for the right person.
• Trainwreck? This is NOT your station. There are 168 hours in a week and we believe that is plenty of time to handle most personal issues so they don't cause turmoil in the commitment we require.
• We work very close together where there is no room for fragile/inflated egos or unprofessional vibes. If you're easily offended, take things personally or require constant reassurance, this is not the place for you.
• This is a physically demanding job. While we don't police your personal time, showing up for your team because you don't make healthy choices will hinder your employment status with us.
• You MUST be available for a paid working interview to be considered. Paid $30/hr at the end of the day.
