Facility:This cardiology practice is part of a large, mission-driven academic health care system serving more than 1.4 million people across 29 eastern North Carolina counties. The established cardiology team works across two hospital settings, including a 25-bed critical access hospital and a 114-bed regional hospital, providing both inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care to the surrounding communities.
Opportunity:Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant - Cardiology
Job Details:- Join an established cardiology practice alongside 2 physicians and 1 advanced practice provider
- At least two years of experience required, preferably in cardiology
- Must be certified as an ANP, FNP, ACNP, or AGNP
- ACLS certification by the American Heart Association is required
- Monday through Friday schedule, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with no call
- Provide both inpatient and outpatient clinical care
- Responsibilities include inpatient consults, stress tests, EKG interpretation, transfer assistance, and seeing new and follow-up patients in outpatient clinic
- Work in conjunction with an onsite cardiologist and telecardiologist
- Hospital privileges at two regional hospital facilities
