CRNA
Location: NM
Schedule: Day shift 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM with call coverage 3:00 PM - 7:00 AM (call every other night and weekend)
Position Overview
Provide CRNA coverage in an independent, all-CRNA anesthesia practice, including scheduled day shift coverage and rotating call coverage.
Clinical Scope Highlights
Independent, all-CRNA practice (no physician supervision)
Paper charting (no EMR in use)
Case mix includes general surgery, podiatry, GI, ophthalmology, plastics, and urology (no OB)
Regional anesthesia experience required (examples include supraclavicular, adductor canal, popliteal, PENG, and femoral blocks)
Spinals, blocks, and epidurals: proficiency required
Typical daytime staffing: 2 providers
Required Qualifications
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Active New Mexico license (or ability to obtain)
DEA registration and controlled substance registration required
BLS, NRP, PALS, and ACLS required (AHA only)
Case logs required (past 2 years)
Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
