Peninsula Trucking Inc. is seeking an experienced, well-rounded Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team!
We are looking for a dependable mechanic with hands-on experience inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial trucking equipment. The ideal candidate will have the skills and knowledge to work across our fleet of OTR tractors, commercial trailers, and refrigerated units.
Job Responsibilities
- Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on commercial trucks and trailers.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Maintain and repair components and systems on OTR tractors, trailers, and refrigerated units.
- Help ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and road-ready.
Qualifications
- Previous heavy-duty diesel mechanic experience.
- Well-rounded mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Experience working on commercial tractors and trailers.
- Refrigerated unit experience is valuable for this position.
- Must have your own tools.
- Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work as part of a team.
