Role Description:

Interventional Cardiologist
Location: Statesville, NC
Employed Position. 247 Bed hospital.
Group has 3 other Interventional Cardiologists
Clinic Schedule: (Mon-Th 8: 30 - 5pm) closed for lunch from 12-1. (Friday 8: 30 - 1pm)
Call is shared between our group and another local organization.
EMR: Cerner
We are looking for a Certified Interventional Cardiologist to provide patients with high-quality treatment.
Coronary Interventions (Artery & Blood Flow), Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization & Coronary Angiography, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) / AngioplastyCoronary Stenting, Atherectomy
Intravascular Imaging & Physiology
Peripheral Vascular Interventions - Peripheral Angioplasty & Stenting, Carotid Artery Stenting (CAS)
Network boasts 27 practices, comprised of 12 primary care clinics, 10 specialty groups, 3 ambulatory surgery centers and 2 urgent cares.

Statesville is located 45 minutes north of Charlotte and Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
We have a vibrant downtown with historic homes, churches and shops.
Statesville is located on the north end of beautiful Lake Norman, and less than one hour away from Blue Ridge Mountains to our west, with fantastic skiing, snowboarding and tubing in the winter.
We are also a short 3-hour drive to the ocean in the opposite direction with white sandy beaches and palm trees, all ideal locations for weekend getaways.

Requirements:

NC Medical License and DEA, eligible
Must be BE/BC
Requires current BLS Certification
No board sanctions or actions in last 10 years
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
Experience working in a team of healthcare professionals and collaborating with them to ensure positive, effective patient experiences with our organization.
Ability to serve without prejudice or judgement regardless of lifestyle, race, economic status, age, or religious affiliation of patients.
