An established automotive repair business founded in 1960 is seeking an A-Level Automotive Technician for its Tifton, GA location.
The shop specializes in European vehicles, with approximately 95% European and 5% Asian vehicle work. Most repairs involve BMW and Mercedes-Benz, with additional Audi and Land Rover service.
This opportunity offers advanced diagnostics, specialty engine work, Porsche and BMW mechanical restorations, and a team environment built around trust and technician autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
Service BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Land Rover, and other vehicles.
Perform advanced diagnostics using Autel and Autologic scan tools.
Complete digital vehicle inspections and repair documentation using Tekmetric.
Perform engine repairs and support specialty restoration projects.
Maintain repair quality and communicate findings with the service team.
Qualifications
A-Level automotive diagnostic and repair skills.
Strong electrical, mechanical, and drivability troubleshooting abilities.
European vehicle experience preferred, not required for highly skilled diagnosticians.
Ability to work independently and accurately document repairs.
Experience with advanced diagnostic tools and repair procedures.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $35-$45/hour, based on experience.
Bonus Opportunities: Flat-rate efficiency bonus; potential annual earnings of $100K+ are not guaranteed.
Pay Schedule: Weekly.
