- Perform adult cardiac surgeries including CABG, heart valve repair/replacement, and re-do cases
- Conduct general thoracic surgeries such as tube thoracostomy, tracheostomy, bronchoscopy, VATS decortication, and lung biopsy
- Support structural heart procedures in hybrid OR or cath lab settings
- Manage high-risk ICU cases, including Impella procedures and critical patient medical management
- Collaborate with an experienced anesthesia team and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document procedures accurately using EPIC EMR systemWhat You Need
- Valid Kentucky medical license and board certification in cardiothoracic surgery
- Proven experience in adult cardiac and thoracic surgery, including ICU management
- Strong skills in high-risk case management and procedural support
- Ability to work independently in a hospital-based settingAbout the Assignment
