Anesthesiologist
Location: TN
Schedule: 10-, 12-, or 24-hour shifts available; weekend home call may be required (72-hour coverage window)
Position Overview
Provide anesthesiology coverage within a supervised model, managing perioperative care and supporting cases across the documented specialty mix.
Key Responsibilities
Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
Provide induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitor patients? physiological status and intervene as needed throughout procedures
Clinical Scope Highlights
Case types include general, cardiac, neuro, and orthopedics
Must be comfortable with cardiac cases and transesophageal echocardiography support as applicable
Charting system: iPro
Supervision model in place with physician oversight of CRNAs
Required Qualifications
MD/DO
Completion of an approved anesthesiology residency program
Board certification required
Active Tennessee medical license
DEA registration
Case logs required
Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

Estimated privileging timeframe: approximately 120 days
