2027 Coverage Dates:
- March 28 at 7:00 AM - April 5 at 7:00 AM
- July 26 at 7:00 AM - August 1 at 7:00 AM
- August 28 at 7:00 AM - September 1 at 7:00 AM
- September 27 at 7:00 AM - October 1 at 7:00 AM
- November 24 at 7:00 AM - November 27 at 7:00 AM
- Ongoing coverage need
Call Requirements:
- Beeper call
- On call during the entire assignment
- 20-minute response time
- Approximately 2-4 phone consults
- Weekend call required
- Overnight call coverage required
- Call coverage for scheduled and unassigned patients
Required Gastroenterology Skills & Procedures:
- Upper GI endoscopy and biopsy
- Foreign body removal
- Fulguration of bleeders
- Injection of varices
- Diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP
- PEG/PEG-J tube placement
- Esophageal dilation
- Esophageal manometry and interpretation
- Small bowel biopsy
- Lower GI endoscopy
- Flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy
- Colonoscopy and biopsy
- Polypectomy
- Liver biopsy
- Sengstaken/Blakemore tube management
- pH studies
- Capsule endoscopy
- Hydrogen breath testing
- EUS preferred
Charting/EMR Systems:
- Cerner
- Athena
- Paragon
- EndoPro
Vaccine Requirements: Most recent required.
