Family Practice - With OB Physician

Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call
Patient Population: Adults, pediatrics, and newborn nursery
Shift: 8 PM 8 AM
Schedule: 8 10 shifts per month
Duration: Approximately 12 weeks
Board Status: Board-certified or board-eligible (within 3 years of residency)
Certifications: Current NRP certification
Required Experience: Adult/pediatric care and newborn nursery care; newborn resuscitation
Census: patients, shared with another provider
EMR System: MediTech 6.1
Practice Setting: Inpatient
Are temporary privileges available: Yes
Responsibilities: Overnight rounding, admissions, and responding to hospital codes
Required Skills: Ventilator management, intubations, and EKG interpretation
Preferred Skills: Central/arterial lines, cardioversion, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis, suturing, and I&D
Facility: Open ICU; cardiology, nephrology, and oncology consultants available
