Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Hand Surgery in Lakewood, CO
Summary: We are seeking an experienced locum physician to join a dedicated Hand Surgery team located in the scenic city of Lakewood, Colorado. The facility is known for its excellent patient care with a focus on hand injuries. Candidates must have completed a hand surgery fellowship and be ready to provide emergency and inpatient support.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide 24-hour call coverage from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m.
- Cover emergency department and transfer center calls related to hand injuries.
- Collaborate with a level I trauma center, managing patient admissions and care.
- Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system for patient documentation.
- Ensure compliance with procedural and documentation standards.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Surgery of the Hand (Required)
- Completed Hand Surgery Fellowship (Required)
- Active Colorado License or Active IMLC
- Active DEA (Highly Preferred)
- Clean malpractice history and background check (Required)
- Availability for specified dates and shifts (Required)
- Local/drive-in candidates preferred
License and Certification Requirements:
