Mammography Technologist
Work Hours: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm (occasional Saturdays required)
The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.
Requirements:
- Texas Medical Board License - TMB
- Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience
- Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred
- Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU s every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years
- Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
