Seasonal Cover Driver (with Warehouse Support)
Become a key part of our UPS team in a dynamic combo role, with a strong focus on driving! At this time of year, you'll primarily serve as a Seasonal Cover Driver, stepping in to support delivery operations and keep things moving. When needed, you'll also be trained to assist as a Seasonal Warehouse Worker.
Your day-to-day assignment will vary based on business needs such as package volume, staffing needs, and seasonal demand. You may rotate between driving and warehouse duties-sometimes week to week, and other times spending extended periods in one role before transitioning to the other.

Cover Driver Responsibilities
- Typically work 8 to 10 hours per day, Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday depending on operational needs
- Safely operate UPS package delivery vehicles
- Deliver and pick up packages while providing excellent customer service
- Work independently in a fast-paced outdoor environment and in and out of customer locations
- Meet all UPS driver qualification standards and requirements
Occasionally, you may work inside the facility as a Seasonal Warehouse Worker
- Typically work 3.5 to 5 hours per day, Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday
- Sort, move, and handle packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Report on the assigned warehouse shift when not scheduled as a Cover Driver
What you'll need:
- Ability to lift, lower, and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Stamina - this is a workout like no other!
- Valid driver's license-no CDL required (License type varies by state - proof required to qualify for the position)
- Satisfactory driving history
- Excellent customer contact and driving skills
- Cover drivers are expected to comply with UPS driver appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform
- Authorized to work in the U.S.

This is a seasonal role. A seasonal job is a great place to start at UPS.
