We are seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Northern California. This inpatient role supports a busy 7-OR facility and Level III Trauma Center, with a diverse surgical case mix and an established anesthesia team.
Opportunity Highlights
Start Date: January 2027
Assignment: Ongoing, long-term coverage
Setting: Inpatient Level III Trauma Center
Schedule: 8 12 hour weekday shifts
Call: Weeknight beeper call + 24-hour weekend beeper call
Guarantee: 8 hours per day
Facility: 7 operating rooms
No resident supervision required
CRNA supervision experience required
Case Mix
Provide anesthesia coverage for a variety of cases, including:
Adult & pediatric
Obstetrics
Trauma
Orthopedic
Thoracic
Regional anesthesia
General surgery
Clinical Skills
Experience with the following is preferred:
General, spinal, epidural & regional anesthesia
Pain management
Post-operative epidural and extremity block management
Arterial and central line placement
Ventilation management
Acute volume and blood pressure management
CRNA supervision
The facility does not perform cardiac, complex vascular, head/spine, or neurosurgical cases.
Support
You ll work alongside an established anesthesia team with support from RNs, MAs, PA/NPs, and office staff.
