System Safety Engineer

Day travel within driving distance of job location 2-3 times per month. Overnight travel inside the United States approximately four times a year. Requires bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, safety engineering, chemical safety engineering or similar and thirty-six (36) months of experience. Experience must be as a system safety engineer or similar occupation in an industrial, chemical plant setting performing the following: 1) site EPRS evaluation and EPRS management of change (MOC) action items; 2) development of EPRS System sketches, overpressure identification, overpressure scenario narratives, and relief load calculations; 3) flare design and rating using software such as Aspen flare system analyzer; 4) process hazard analysis (PHA) studies.
