PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics: Adults (over 18), occasional pediatric emergency torsion
Patient Volume/Census: 24-28 patients per day (mix of procedures and office visits)
Case Mix: General urology including cystoscopy, stent placements, vasectomy, prostate procedures, ureteroscopy, lithotripsy, and other core urologic procedures

Office Equipment Available: Cystoscope and towers, injection equipment

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Temporary Privileges Available: Yes, for urgent needs

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Pennsylvania License or Universal License (IMLC)
Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
DEA: Required
Experience: Minimum 1 year in Urology

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform cystoscopy, stent placements, and other urologic procedures in the operating room.
Conduct office visits for outpatient urology consultations and follow-ups, managing 24-28 patients per day.
Supervise and collaborate with new Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in the urology department.
Provide 24-hour call coverage, including emergency management of testicular torsion and other urologic emergencies.
Perform a range of core urologic procedures such as vasectomy, ureteroscopy, lithotripsy, and prostate procedures.
