Production Welder
Location: Plant City, FL
Pay: $17-$20 per hour
Job type: Temp-to-hire
We're hiring an experienced Production MIG Welder to weld, fabricate, and refurbish metal equipment. The right candidate can read blueprints, measure accurately, and work safely in a hands-on production environment.
Responsibilities
- Weld, tack, and fabricate products using blueprints as a guide.
- Perform flat and vertical-down welds using .045 hard wire.
- Grind and prepare units for welding.
- Cut, grind, weld, and replace rusted or damaged steel on used equipment.
- Help handle materials when shipments arrive.
- Keep the work area clean and maintain equipment.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of welding experience.
- Welding training through a prior employer, school, or welding certificate.
- Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Reliable transportation.
- Personal welding gear and PPE.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
