Document Scanner / Inventory Clerk
Pay Rate: $22.00/hour
Location: Beverly, MA
Duration:Temporary coverage through November 30, 2026, with potential for extension
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift
- Option 1: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Option 2: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Scanner / Inventory Clerk to support document scanning, electronic file management, and inventory stock rotation activities in a manufacturing environment. The primary responsibility will be scanning and uploading a backlog of paperwork into an ERP system, ensuring documents are clear, accurate, and properly organized. Once the backlog is completed, the employee will assist with daily document scanning and stock rotation tasks.
Responsibilities
- Scan work orders and other production-related paperwork into the company's ERP system.
- Perform batch scanning of documents and ensure all scanned files are clear, legible, and complete.
- Organize and maintain electronic files and documentation.
- Manage daily paperwork and maintain accurate electronic records.
- Look up Certificates of Conformance (C of C) for parts requiring stock rotation.
- Assist with inventory stock rotation activities within the inventory area.
- Work closely with shipping, receiving, quality, production, and inventory personnel as needed.
- Maintain accuracy and organization while handling a high volume of paperwork.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of relevant work experience.
- Basic computer skills and comfort working with electronic filing systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
- Experience with Macola or other ERP systems is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to work in a busy, active manufacturing environment.
Additional Requirements
- Must meet applicable U.S. citizenship and ITAR compliance requirements.
- Must successfully complete the required background and drug screening process. THC is not an automatic disqualifier.
Work Environment
This position is based in an active manufacturing facility near shipping, receiving, quality, production, and inventory operations. The employee will work at a designated workstation scanning documents and will also assist with inventory-related tasks as needed.
Employment Opportunity
This is a temporary assignment expected to run through November 30, 2026, to cover a leave of absence. The assignment may be extended depending on business needs and the employee's return-to-work status.
