Job Details:

  • Pay Rate: $200/hr
    • Night Call: $400 (incl. 2.5 hrs gratis)
    • Callback: $200/hr
  • Qualifications: MD/DO IM/FM
    • BC/BE
    • ND License
    • ACLS
    • Covid vaccination
  • Facility: A General Medical and Surgical Hospital
  • Schedule: Dates: December 24, 2026-January 6, January 12-22, February 9-19, March 6-15, March 25-30, 2027 - Ongoing
    • 7:00am-7:00pm plus Night Call 7:00pm-7:00am (24-hour hospitalist service)
    • not 24 hr in-house coverage. Providers come in and see patients, do rounds and then round again in the evening. Take call 24 hours a day to cover calls/admissions from the ER and the floor.
  • Assignment: Rounding/Admissions
    • Coverage for ICU and medical surgical departments.
    • Support Staff- FNP works 8-5 Monday through Friday
    • Round on admitted patients in med/surg and ICU, come in to admit pts as needed, cover call questions for staff r/t patient care
    • Length of time they are on the units really depends on the number of pts in house, there could be 8 or there could be 15, it fluctuates.
    • Oversight of Residents
    • EMR: Meditech
