OB/GYN Physician Job Requirements
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in OB/GYN
- Active, unrestricted Texas physician license
- Active DEA registration
- Availability for the complete approved holiday coverage window
- Ability to provide safe, independent patient care and respond to urgent obstetric and gynecologic needs
OB/GYN Physician Responsibilities
- Provide obstetrics and gynecology coverage during the designated holiday assignment
- Evaluate and manage practice patients who present to the hospital
- Provide unrestricted 24-hour call coverage throughout the scheduled period
- Perform appropriate obstetric and gynecologic assessments, treatment, and follow-up
- Document patient care accurately in the eCW electronic medical record
- Collaborate with hospital-based clinical staff to support timely, high-quality patient care
