Surgery - General Nurse Practitioner

Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Division of Surgery as a Nocturnal APP supporting Surgical Oncology, Thoracic Surgery, Head & Neck Surgery, and Colorectal Surgery patients.

Position Highlights

• 7 on / 7 off schedule
• Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Practice within a nationally recognized cancer program
• Work alongside multidisciplinary oncology and surgical teams
• Support complex surgical oncology patients in a state-of-the-art cancer center
• Strong physician and APP collaboration
• Diverse clinical responsibilities including admissions, consults, postoperative management, acute assessments, and after-hours patient support

Qualifications

• APRN
• Florida license (or eligibility)
• National certification required
• Minimum 1-2 years of surgical, critical care, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or other acute inpatient experience
• Oncology experience preferred but not required
