Wire Harness Technician
Shift: 1st and 2nd Shift (Must be available to work both)
Overview:
We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our lab technician team. Our team is essential in supporting the development of innovative electric and autonomous driving technologies by constructing and maintaining advanced systems and subsystems for HIL/Infotainment/Electrical development test benches. These benches enable early integration and verify cation of software at both the vehicle system and subsystem levels.
In this role as a Technician, you will have the opportunity to manage most project responsibilities, rather than working on parts of a job. You will work in several departments where you will demonstrate your knowledge, skills, and learning abilities. As the Technician, you'll tackle various tasks, as well as train more entry level technicians! This position supports the test and development of automotive electrical systems by constructing and supporting advanced electrical test benches and update/retrofit of test benches.
Requirments:
- Education Requirement - Minimum 2-year Associate Degree or experience in related field, OR Equivalent Military experience in relevant field will also be considered.
- 3+ years of experience as a technician in the automotive industry (wire harness, panel assembly, etc.) working on electrical-related parts and components.
- Good electrical root cause skills
- Soft skills - able to work in a team setting, good communication
MUST HAVES:
- Building wire harnesses
- Soldering skills
- Fabrication skills - working with aluminum structures or metal to build fixtures
