REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • Balloon Angioplasties
  • Coronary Angioplasty
  • Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
  • Heart Catheterization
  • Coronary Angiograms
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: Board Certified (Required)
  • Licenses: Active KY License (Required) or Universal License (IMLC) with availability
  • DEA: Active DEA Certification
  • Certifications: ACLS (Required), Board Certified (Required), DEA (Required)
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform interventional cardiology procedures including balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasty, PCI, heart catheterization, and coronary angiograms.
  • Respond to all cardiology calls for the hospital.
  • Provide general cardiology consultations as needed.
  • Read and interpret EKGs, ECHOs, and stress tests (including nuclear stress).
  • Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for interventional cardiology.
