Job description

ENT Physician: Partner with Us to Deliver Exceptional Care (Pateros, WA) (j-233148)

Are you a board-certified otolaryngologist (ENT) seeking a rewarding and fulfilling career opportunity in a collaborative and supportive environment near Pateros, Washington? Our established multi-specialty healthcare organization is actively searching for a skilled and dedicated physician to join our vibrant team of five outstanding ENT specialists. This full-time partnership position offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of your patients while enjoying a healthy work-life balance and the benefits of being a valued partner in our organization.

Why You'll Thrive Here:

  • Partnership Opportunity: Become a valued partner in our organization, where physician well-being is prioritized alongside patient care. Enjoy the flexibility and autonomy of creating a schedule that works for you, with a choice of a 4-day or 5-day workweek and the option for a reduced 0.8 FTE position. Call is manageable with a 1:5 rotation (typically one weekend and one Monday-Thursday block every 5 weeks).
  • Diverse Practice Environment: Treat a broad spectrum of ENT conditions in a general practice setting. Fellowship-trained physicians are welcome, and an otology focus/interest would be ideal to complement our existing team expertise.
  • Strong Support System: Collaborate with a robust hospitalist program at two affiliated hospitals, ensuring comprehensive patient care. Our organization utilizes the Epic electronic medical records system for efficient documentation, streamlining your workflow and allowing you to focus on patient interaction.
  • Work-Life Balance and Flexibility: Maintain a healthy work-life balance with flexible scheduling options within clinic hours (typically 8 am to 5 pm) and one surgical day per week once your practice is established.
  • Collegial and Patient-Centered Approach: Join a team of dedicated and collaborative ENT physicians who are passionate about delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a patient-centered environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of ear, nose, and throat conditions in both adults and children.
  • Perform in-office procedures and surgeries in an ambulatory setting.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, nurses, and audiologists, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough patient consultations, educate patients and families about their conditions and treatment options, and provide clear and compassionate communication.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records within the Epic electronic medical records system.

Who You Are:

  • Board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology (ABO) or board-eligible with a demonstrated track record of clinical excellence. General ENT practice is preferred, with fellowship training and an otology focus/interest a plus.
  • Possess or be eligible to obtain an active state medical license in Washington State.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • The ability to maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records within the electronic medical records system.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (religious and medical exemptions considered upon request).

Join a Team That Makes a Difference:

We are committed to fostering a supportive and collaborative environment where you can utilize your expertise, partner with colleagues, and make a real difference in the lives of patients. If you're a passionate ENT physician seeking a rewarding career opportunity with a strong focus on work-life balance and partnership, we encourage you to apply!
