DuBois, Pennsylvania, Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery JobClinical Role

  • Permanent, full-time job opening
  • Seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to serve as Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • Opportunity to lead an established Cardiothoracic Surgery Program
  • Seeking a surgeon with 5-7 years of post-fellowship experience in adult cardiac and thoracic surgery
  • Must be able to collaborate with medical staff to educate colleagues and promote current and advanced procedures
  • Excellent resources and infrastructure, including:
    • 2 dedicated Cardiac ORs
    • 9 General ORs
    • 3 Cardiac Cath Labs
    • 1 hybrid room
    • Additional cath labs at two other hospitals within the health system
    • 24/7 dedicated Cardiac Anesthesia Team
    • 12-bed CVICU
    • Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit
  • Compensation:
    • $975,000 base salary guaranteed for two years
    • Up to $50,000 annual quality incentive
    • $50,000 sign-on bonus, forgiven over three years
    • $10,000 relocation assistance
