5+ years Financial Statement Audit experience
2+ years Supervisory / Management experience
Strong experience leading audit engagements
Private Equity experience/exposure REQUIRED
Experience with privately held / investment-backed / middle-market clients
Strong team leadership, client management & communication skills
Bachelors degree in Accounting
Key Responsibilities
Lead financial statement audits from planning through completion.
Manage audit teams, budgets, deadlines, and client deliverables.
Review workpapers, financial statements, and audit documentation.
Resolve complex accounting and auditing issues.
Supervise, mentor, and develop audit associates and seniors.
Manage client relationships and communicate audit findings/recommendations.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards.
Support client service, business development, and process improvements.
Preferred
Masters in Accounting or related field.
Experience with complex/multiple audit engagements.
Strong Microsoft Office and audit/accounting software skills.
Ideal Candidate: Audit Manager / Assurance Manager / Senior Audit Manager / strong Audit Senior with an active CPA, 5+ years public accounting & financial statement audit experience, 2+ years leadership, and clearly demonstrated Private Equity exposure.
