Local Team Collaboration:
- Community Behavioral Health Center APPs collaborate with a large team of clinicians within the Community Medical Center system
- Work alongside a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds from all over the world. Become an integral member of the hospitalist team and community.
- Community Medical Centers is affiliated with UCSF Fresno, which offers training to residents and fellows.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified/eligible physician assistants.
- Active California license preferred.
- Acute care trained physician assistants are welcome to apply. Acute care training is required
- Must have at least one year of experience working as a hospitalist PA and have been a hospitalist PA within the last 24 months.
- Ability to work well in a team-based environment, focusing on collaboration and patient-centered care.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Scheduling:
- Full- or part-time, day shift role.
- 7 on/7 off schedule.
- Shifts are 12 hours; 7 am - 7 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient care in a closed ICU environment.
- Consulted only on medical issues. Psychiatry is the primary for all patients.
- Our patient population is diverse, so we are looking for a nurse practitioner who relishes the challenge of addressing a broad spectrum of patient needs.
- Utilize Epic EMR system.

Rewards and Compensation:
- Annual compensation of $160,000-$165,000 plus bonuses, based on the number of shifts worked.
