This role requires operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The MRI Technologist position also requires a strong commitment to patient care, technical expertise, and collaborative communication with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.
Position Details: Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completed required clinical hours.
Experience: no experience required
Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
Certification/Registration: ARRT registry OR Registry eligible (Achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility); BLS within 30 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and using imaging software to acquire high-quality diagnostic images.
- Skilled in effectively communicating with patients, explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and providing emotional support.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively within a healthcare team, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Physical Requirements: • Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
