This moderate volume emergency department will offer a physician the choice to be an independent contractor or an employ of the group. The department has ample coverage considering many hours of double coverage with physician assistants. Shift hours are 7-a to 7-p and the schedule is made out on a rotating schedule, usually 3 on 4 off, but is flexible if larger blocks of work time and off time are requested. Physician cover both days and nights. They use meditech EMR in the emergency department. This department runs similar to a level 11 trauma center. Excellent backup and nursing staff.
