Onsite Job - Manufacturing Test Technician 2
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Oxnard California 93030
WORK SHIFT: 1st Shift (9/80A)
High School diploma
1st shift 6am to 3:30pm and 2nd shift 2:30pm to Midnigh

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Run functional, electrical, or mechanical tests on components following written instructions

• Document results, log errors, and report non-conformances to engineers, quality and manufacturing

• Identify and analyze equipment failures or defects during testing Execute comprehensive component and system level test plans, procedures and test events

• Participate in test planning and test readiness reviews

• Analyze measurement requirements and equipment measurement tolerances

• Define and maintain documented best practices for test processes and equipment

• Contribute to maintaining and improving test equipment and infrastructure

• Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such component and systems level test results and engineering design changes

• Conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.

• Maintains engineering documentation and reports (procedures and test reports)

• Support internal and external customers' needs.

• Identify, troubleshoot and solve test problems and provide assistance to manufacturing, inspection and test engineering related issues.

• Analyze data and provide reports in a variety of customers' format.

• Must be able to support working multiple shifts; ie: 1st shift 6am to 3:30pm and 2nd shift 2:30pm to Midnight

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent and 3 years' additional education and/or related experience.

• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams, plus experience with multimeters, calipers, or torque wrenches

• Attention to detail, ability to spot minor flaws and recording accurate data

• 3+ years overall experience as a technician in the manufacturing/engineering field

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings

• Experience working with a Microsoft Office product and process documentation

• Experience working in Cleanroom Environment and Environmental Test Area

• Availability to work overtime and weekends as needed

• Must be able to work on feet for extended periods of time

• Ability to manipulate equipment weighing up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with working around delicate spacecraft hardware an advantage

• Certification in engineering disciplines

• Some college preferred
